Deputy Managing Director, Acting Managing Director, Thailand Creative & Design Center (Thailand)

Kittiratana Pitipanich holds the Master of Architecture from University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and the Master of Science in Architecture & Urban Design from Columbia University. He is the Deputy Managing Director of Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC), the premier center of the creative economy in Thailand. With strong background in architecture, design, business and management, he provides direction, plans and manages the operation of TCDC in fostering the establishment of the Creative Economy as a part of the policy Thailand 4.0. Collaborated with the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Board in researches of the Creative Economy, Kittiratana actively involved in pushing forward the Creative Economy in the 11th National Economic and Social Development Plan of Thailand. He currently serves as the Secretary of the Board of the Creative District driving forward the ecology of Charoenkrung Creative District.

Creative Economy & Creative District Vibe
As Thailand is moving towards new economic model, Creative Economy has been one of the key engines to boost country’s GDP. The direction is set to build an ecosystem for creative industry, culture sector and real sector to fuse and innovate. Thailand Creative & Design Center (TCDC) conducts a Creative District project at Charoenkrung as a model for sustainable creative ecology by using Co-Creation process and varied forms of prototyping.
